Dance and Theory (D&T) is a bi-annual peer-reviewed journal for dance scholarship, published by the Department of Dance Theory, School of Dance, Korea National University of Arts. Reflecting our department’s interdisciplinary approach and wide range of subjects, including aesthetics, anthropology, history, science, and arts management, Dance and Theory aims to engage with academic debates on dance and address cross-disciplinary research with a dance perspective. In so doing, the journal intends to stimulate dance discourses across its artistic, educational, and theoretical fields.

1. The Editorial Committee handle the peer review.

2. All submissions are subject to double blind reviews by two relevant referees who are assigned by the Editorial Committee.

3. The peer review evaluates originality, validity, relevancy, clarity, contribution of the research. The results of the peer review will be classified as follows.
1) Accept (90 points and above): the manuscript can be published as it is.
2) Minor revisions (80-89 points): the manuscript requires minor improvement before publication.
3) Major revisions (70-79 points): the manuscript requires considerable reworking prior to reconsideration.
4) Reject (Under 70 points): the manuscript is considered unsuitable for publication.

4. The Editor should make a final editorial decision based on the referee reports.
